  • Creative – I love brainstorming and thinking of different, engaging solutions to visual problems. I don’t work with the same fonts, styles, layouts, etc. all the time as that would get boring fast and is the opposite of creativity. Although I have somewhat of a style, I would not say I am married too or stuck with a particular one to the point where my entire portfolio looks the same. I am always hungry to find, learn and implement visual elements, techniques, or trends I have never experimented with or seen before because it’s fun and usually solves the problem better than a more basic, established solution (although, that is not always the case, sometimes basic is better). That’s what the joy in designing is, you tinker like a scientist with different elements until you make a visual product that enables the desired result.

  • Quality of work – I do this because it is still my passion (to create) and I feel that I have a gift that makes a positive impact. I am still inspired by creating engaging, beautiful work that spreads joy not just to myself through the act of creating but to my clients and their audiences as well. Great design and content is exciting, it always has been. That’s why we have had artists, writers, entertainers since the dawn of time.

  • Personable – I’m not a huge corporation with various template replies to their customers. Anyone who emails or contacts Pegasus will have a reply personally from me, the designer, answering any of your questions within 24 hours. When I’m on a discovery call with potential clients, I usually try to break the ice with a joke or just mention what background music I have on while working, usually meditation or Chopin. And, if Nicki Minaj was actually just playing when you called or Tupac, depending on how well we know each other, I might just leave the track on haha *Joke* See, sense of humor. (Disclaimer – I do like both of those rap artists.)

  • Professional and Reliable – I’ve been a graphic designer for a decade and have worked in various environments, from W-2 to 1099 employment. One of my longest relationships with a company working as a graphic designer was 5+ years. Additionally, it would not be in my best interest to not be professional or reliable with potential/new clients because I am trying to grow my business and establish a name for myself.

  • Genuine Care and Interest in Project Outcome – I give it my best shot every time to deliver quality work that makes the client impressed and engaged. I want you to feel the same excitement that one of your customers looking at the same piece would feel. That’s what it’s all about!

  • Transparent – Deception when it comes to project details does not help anyone in the long run. I am trying to establish a name and I also have a conscience so providing sub-par service to my clients is not in my interest. If someone comes to me and asks me “Do you know Javascript so you can code this on my website?”, I’m going to tell you the truth which is “No, but I can design the front-end for you in Figma, Sketch, or Photoshop.”

  • Asynchronous or team-player. Depends on the project and your needs.

  • Affordable – I may not be cheaper on larger projects than other freelance designers but I am likely going to give you a better price than other marketing agencies within your area for the simple fact that I probably do not have the same overhead, plus I want the work. I need to grow my clientele.
